Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the start of short-range communication with a terminal against a user intention in an image processing apparatus, with easy operation to start the short-range communication with the terminal.SOLUTION: In a state (A), a mobile terminal 400 carried by a user U is not located within a range depicted with a broken line A23. This causes an MFP 100 not to start short-range communication with the mobile terminal 400 carried by the user who merely passes in front of the MFP 100. In a state (B), the communication range of the short-range communication is set narrower than in the state (A), as depicted with a broken line A21. Therefore, even in the state (B), the MFP 100 does not start short-range communication with the mobile terminal 400 carried by the user who merely passes in front of the MFP 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
