Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of reproducing a fluorescent color included in image data as intended by a user.SOLUTION: A reproduction color holding section 402 holds color information of a plurality of reproduction color candidates, corresponding to a color range of fluorescent colors of a detection object held in a color range holding section 401, to be used for reproducing colors belonging to the color range. A pixel extraction section 403 extracts a pixel including the fluorescent color on the basis of the color range held by the color range holding section 401, from image data. In a display control section 404, the color information of the plurality of reproduction color candidates corresponding to the fluorescent color included in the pixel extracted by the pixel extraction section 403 is read from the reproduction color holding section 402 and displayed on a display section 201. A reproduction color selection receiving section 405 receives a user selection of a reproduction color from among the plurality of colors displayed on the display section 201. A fluorescent color reproduction section 406 replaces the color information of the pixel extracted by the pixel extraction section 403 with the reproduction color received by the reproduction color selection receiving section 405.
