Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus whose power saving effect in a standby mode cutting power supply to a main power line is satisfactory.
SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is provided with a power supply restoration part 6 that drives pulses of a light emitting element of a photosensor of a group 23 of first sensor parts, that stops energization to light emitting elements of other photosensors when the power supply from a main power source 1 to the main power line 15 is stopped, that provides a main power source ON/OFF signal 17 on receiving a detection signal 14 of a start operation of an image processing and that restarts the energization to the main power line 15 when the photosensor of the group 23 of first sensor parts detect the operation.
