Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in the quality of an image by a colored material when suppressing show-through by recording an image by a white color material under the image by the colored material.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: reception means 21 which receives image data and recording object member information; extraction means 25 which extracts color information for the received image data; selection means 26 which selects the relationship between the brightness of a recording surface of the recording object member by the colored material in accordance with the type of the recording object member of the recording object member information and the recording amount of the white color material as show-through suppression information; decision means 27 which decides the recording amount of the white color material from the color information extracted by the extraction means by using the selected show-through suppression information; correction means 28 which performs correction so as to reduce the influence of recording the white color material for the extracted color information on the basis of the type of the recording object member and the decided recording amount of the white color material; and conversion means 29 which converts the corrected color information into the recording amount of the colored material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
