Abstract:
To enable the generation of an image with an impression close to a contrast obtained by HDR development, even in a case where an RAW image by HDR photographing is subjected to an SDR development.SOLUTION: An image processing system includes: generating means (111, 110) that generate a gain signal used in a gain process performed when an undeveloped image is developed; and processing means (112) that performs the gain process on the undeveloped image by using the gain signal generated by the generating means (111, 110). When a development process corresponding to a second dynamic range (SDR), which is a range narrower than a first dynamic range (HDR), is performed using the undeveloped image, the generating means (110) generates the gain signal, based on a gain characteristic common to the first dynamic range and the second dynamic range and a difference in gain characteristic between the first dynamic range and the second dynamic range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
