SOLUTION: This information processing system is provided with an image processing device 100 for performing image processing and a maintenance device 120, connected to the image processing device 100 via a network 110, for making the setting of the processing functions on the image processing device 100. The maintenance device 120 determines the individual add-on level on preventive information against forgery depending on the individual differences of the image processing device in exhaustion condition or the like, which is to be applied to the image processing device 100.
