Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image read method, an image read system, a control program for the image read system and a storage medium that can automatically store an image converted according to a job and an index to a database server.
SOLUTION: A server PC 3 sets a processing which a user applies to an image resulting from a document read by an MFP 1, registers the job to the MFP device 1, the MFP device 1 transmits its read image and an attribute file prepared when reading the image to the server PC 3, the server PC 3 receives the image and the attribute file, applies processing to the image according to the job, prepares the index based on the image and the attribute file, and automatically stores the image and the index to the server according to the job as its control.
