An image processing device 10 transports stacked documents, reads the images of the documents, and performs predetermined image processing on the read document image data. The image processing device includes: a document reading unit 11 for continuously reading a processing sheet and the documents, in which the processing sheet is set at the top or the last of the stacked documents and having identification information that indicates the image processing contents of the documents; an information extraction unit 21 for extracting the identification information from the read processing sheet; a processing content acquisition unit 22 for analyzing the extracted identification information and acquiring the image processing contents; and a processing performance unit 23 for performing predetermined image processing on the document image data in accordance with the acquired image processing contents.
