Abstract:
To provide a technology which, when a condition for execution of a job that includes image processing is met in an image processing device capable of executing multiple types of image processing, preserves a log related to the job in a server following a suitable procedure.SOLUTION: An MFP 1 checks when having started executing a printing job to see whether it is possible to access a log preservation server 4 before printing a first page, in response to initiation of generating print data for the first page, and preserves a log in the log preservation server 4 and prints the print data when it was possible to access, or aborts job execution when it was impossible to access. The MFP 1 checks when having started executing a scanning job to see whether it is possible to access the log preservation server 4 before starting to scan a first page and scans beginning with the first page when it was possible to access, preserves a log in the log preservation server 4 and outputs image data after having finished scanning all pages, or aborts job execution when it was impossible to access.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
