Abstract:
To suppress decrease in printing speed while suppressing occurrence of color unevenness in printing using forward printing and backward printing.SOLUTION: The image processing device determines a noticeable printing direction for partial printing of an object to be processed to be either of a forward direction and a backward direction using noticeable part image data, executes first generation processing to generate first partial printing data for performing partial printing in a first direction, the opposite direction of a printing direction of partial printing lastly performed; and executes second generation processing to generate second partial printing data for performing partial printing in a second direction, the printing direction of the partial printing lastly performed. The first generation processing is started at timing when the noticeable printing direction is not yet determined, then is interrupted at timing when the noticeable printing direction is determined to be the second direction, and is completed when the noticeable printing direction is determined to be the first direction. The second generation processing is started after the noticeable printing direction is determined to be the second direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
