Abstract:
To provide a novel technique discriminating a condition in front of a vehicle with a relatively simple method.SOLUTION: An image processing system comprises a road shape estimation unit defining a region including a roadway outside line from a picked-up image obtained by imaging a front of a vehicle and estimating a road shape on the basis of a shape of the region and a reference point calculation unit calculating a far reference point on the basis of an intersection of a line extending a diagonal of the region and a horizontal line in the picked-up image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
