In the image processing system having information and means instructing correction of a pixel in a specified part, information (defective pixel information) instructing the correction of the pixel has information (positional information) on a position in a photographed image and information (attribute information) on a type of the correction in the pixel (defective pixel) requiring correction processing when it is processed as photographed image information. The system includes: non-volatile storage means storing the defective pixel information; temporary storage means which temporarily stores the defective pixel information; a control unit of the temporary storage means; and a decoding unit receiving the defective pixel information from the temporary storage means and analyzing content of information. The system also includes means overlapping a decoding result of the decoding unit on image information being a processing object as a status at every attribute information and/or storing the decoding result in the temporary storage means as information at every attribute information such as {0, 1} information.
