Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent density deterioration due to an image output characteristic in the subscanning direction in an image output section by adopting the method that the circuit scale and the memory capacity are not increased and real time processing is executed.
SOLUTION: An image input section 100 acquires input image data so that its time series direction is in a direction of the arrow 42 corresponding to a subscanning direction of an image output section 300. The input image data from the image input section 100 are corrected in response to an image output characteristic in the subscanning direction of the image output section 300. The image data after correction are subject to rotation processing so that its time series direction is in a direction of the arrow 41 corresponding to a main scanning direction of the image output section 300. The image data after the rotation processing are given to the image output section 300.
