Abstract:

To fast process an input image and to obtain a stable process result.

The image processor is equipped with an optical writing type PAL-SLM (parallel aligned nematic liquid crystal spatial light modulator) 8, at least one FLC-SLM (ferroelectric liquid crystal spatial light modulator) 5 disposed in the writing side of PAL-SLM 8, and a laser light source 2 disposed in the reading side of PAL-SLM 8. The device is also equipped with a synchronizing means to synchronize AC driving timing of PAL-SLM 8 and display switching timing of FLC-SLM 5.
