Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor in which the burden on a user is reduced and operations are facilitated when processing a series of originals not to be read at once by dividing the originals.
SOLUTION: The original fed to an original hopper 25 is read with an image reader 19 and outputted image data are stored in an image storage device 20. When reading is completed, it is judged whether the number of read originals is equal to or larger than a specified number. When the number of the read originals is equal to or larger than the specified number, a MODEM 13 is turned into standby state. When an original is fed in the standby state, the original is read again. Original data outputted at such a time are stored into the image storage device 20 while being related with the image data stored directly before. When the instruction of standby state cancellation is inputted from the user or after the lapse of a specified period from the start of the standby state, the MODEM 13 is operated and the image data stored in the image storage device 20 are transmitted to a transmission destination together with the related image data.
