To provide an image recording body which has a performance of causing no phenomenon of toner blister or paper blister and enabling printing of an image at a high speed and sufficient fixation of a toner image in an electrophotographic method and which is excellent in ink absorbing properties and color developing properties and has a performance of being capable of preventing blotting of ink in an ink jet recording method, and a manufacturing method of the image recording body.
The image recording body has a constitution wherein an image receiving layer constituted at least of resin particles of a hot-melt resin and of a bonding resin for bonding the resin particles to the surface of a base is formed on the surface of the base. The manufacturing method of the image recording body has a process of forming the image receiving layer by coating the surface of the base with a coating solution constituted at least of the resin particles of the hot-melt resin, the bonding resin for bonding the resin particles and a solvent.
