To make it possible to easily switch over between a maintenance state and the other state (an image recording state or a manual operation state) without greatly moving a maintenance unit.
An image recording device 1 includes: a support member 30 supporting a recording medium; a print head 36 recording an image at a first position P1 opposed to the support member 30; and a maintenance unit 5 arranged at a different position from a position of the support member 30 in an orthogonal direction Dp orthogonal to an opposed direction Df in which the print head 36 at the first position P1 is opposed to the support member 30. Furthermore, the image recording device 1 includes a guide mechanism 6 guiding moving of the print head 36 among the first position P1, a second position P2 at which the print head 36 is opposed to the maintenance unit 5, and a third position P3 that is a position different from the positions at which the print head 36 is opposed to the support member 30 and the maintenance unit 5 in the orthogonal direction Dp. A space OS where the print head 36 can be manually operated is present at a position opposed to the print head 36 located at the third position P3.
