To provide a printer capable of stably discharging sheets while keeping the printed sheets from floating upward, and suppressing misalignment of the discharged sheets.
A printer includes: a print drum 29 rotating with a stencil sheet 16 wound around an outer circumferential surface, and transporting a print sheet 24 downstream while transferring an image corresponding to the stencil sheet onto the print sheet 24; a separation mechanism 36 blowing separation air to an outer periphery of the print drum, and releasing and separating the print sheet onto which the image is transferred from the print drum; a suction/transport mechanism 70 including attraction means 73 attracting the separated print sheet toward a surface of a transport belt 72, and transporting the print sheet toward a sheet discharge port; and a ventilation hole 100 formed upstream of a downstream end of the attraction means in a transport direction, and exhausting at least a part of the separation air.
