An image reproducer can reproduce a first image and a second image obtained by editing the first image. The image reproducer includes: a data reading section reading a first image file including data of the first image and a second image file including data of the second image; a display section reproducing and displaying the image; an operating section receiving input of the user; and a control section controlling reproduction display in accordance with the input of the operating section. In at least of one of the cases where first identification data showing the second image generated from the first image is included in the first image file and where second identification data showing the first image of the editing source of the second image is included in the second image file, the control section makes a display section display a comparison screen which simultaneously displays the first image and the second image before and after image editing based on at least one of the first identification data and the second identification data.
