Abstract:

To provide a receiver system for receiving signals at multiple frequency bands without the need of duplicating many hardware components.

The filtered signals output by a band pass filter 212a and a band pass filter 212b are supplied to a multi-input serial-parallel interface gm-stage 235 for selection of a desired operating frequency band of a wireless communication system. In response to an applied control signal from an SPI control part 250, the gm-stage 235 selects a band path (one of two outputs from BPFs 212) for output to a mixer core 240 and a mixer core 241. The mixers 240, 241 mix the received signals from the gm-stage 235 with quadrature signals output by a quadrature signal generator 245.
