When a reproduction button 46 is turned on, a disk drive part 33 reads an image file from a magneto-optical recoding medium 32 and successively stores it in memory 36. A volume detecting part 40a fetches sound information that is synchronized with a moving image of a reproducing frame number and recorded and detects a volume level. When a volume level exceeds a threshold, an image extending part 37 extends moving image data of the reproducing frame number and outputs it to a liquid crystal display part 42 through displaying memory 38. When a volume level is below the threshold, the part 37 just extends an intra-image and temporally records it in working memory and does not display an image. A microprocessor makes the reproducing frame number stepping.
