Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an image sensor, which can read an original picture and measure a luminous light quantity with a simple constitution and to provide an image reader, which can correct the luminous light quantity with simple constitution by the use of the image sensor.
CONSTITUTION: An image-reading CCD linear image sensor 14 and a sensor part 15 for detecting light quantity are provided in the same package 11 and respective outputs of the CCD linear image sensor 14 and sensor 15 are separately led out of the package 11.
