Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of allowing a user to easily perform a manual WB correction with lesser member operation in a circumstance where it is difficult to perform a complicated operation such as underwater.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: means for capturing an image and processing the obtained image signals; first white-balance correction means for performing a white-balance correction on the basis of an image signal determined to be white color among the image signals; setting means for allowing a user to set two parameters on the basis of two parameter axes intended to correct; second white-balance correction means for performing a white-balance correction on the basis of the first white-balance correction value, the information obtained by the setting means, and a black body radiation axis information; display means for displaying information concerning a setting value obtained from the setting means; and means for rotating axes so that an axis extended from the black body radiation axis and specialized for underwater white balance, and an axis specialized for the underwater white balance in the second white balance correction means, can be displayed horizontally or vertically with regard to the display means.
