Abstract:
To solve the problem that an imaging apparatus mounted in a portable apparatus is hard to incorporate an iris stop, this making difficult the continuous adjustment of the light quantity.
The imaging apparatus having an imaging device 5 for taking the image of a two-dimensional object through a stop 4a and an optical system 4b comprises an ND filter 45 having a variable density and data in a memory for correcting the shading due to the density change of the ND filter, thereby correcting the shading using the data. It also uses different shading correcting data in photographing using a non-dimming region 48 provided in the ND filter from the data in photographing using a gradient density region 47.
