To build a system over a wider area at a low cost which displays functions by a simple operation.
A plurality of IR transceivers 1-B cascaded to IR transceivers 1-A by IR beams are connected to IR receivers 11R of an IR transceiver 1-C by IR beams, an IR beam emitter 11S of the IR transceiver 1-C sends an IR beam to a radio communication apparatus 2 to relay a beam receive-off detected by the IR transceivers 1-B, 1-C to a beam emit-off. The radio communication apparatus 2 decides the receive-off of the IR beam to be abnormal, if any one is detected, and calls out pre-registered addresses to send a warning message thereto from an automatic transmitter 25. The IR transceiver 1-B emits and receives a simple IR beam, and the radio communication apparatus 2 may use a portable telephone having a function for receiving the IR beam and an automatic transmitting function as a substitute, thereby building a cheaper system.
