Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of accurately correcting dark current even when a housing temperature changes according to an exposure time, and an image correction method.SOLUTION: A CCD image sensor 104 acquires an Image Frame obtained in a state where incident light is present and a Dark Frame obtained in a state where incident light is not present. A corrected dark image calculation part 133 divides photographing time of the Image Frame at each of divided time intervals, calculates the housing temperature of the Image Frame for each divided time interval, and calculates a partial Dark Frame for each time interval based on a difference between each calculated housing temperature and a housing temperature during acquisition of the Dark Frame. Then, the corrected dark image calculation part 133 calculates an Integrated Dark Frame by integrating the partial Dark Frames. A dark current correction part 134 performs dark current correction to the Image Frame using the Integrated Dark Frame.
