Abstract:
To provide a compact and inexpensive imaging apparatus capable of acquiring a high-resolution image signal.
The imaging apparatus for taking an image is provided with: a first imaging part 1 which acquires a first image signal; a second imaging part 2 which acquires a second image signal having a lower resolution than that of the first image signal; a luminance information extraction part 7 which extracts luminance information from the first image signal; a color information extraction part 8 which extracts color information from the second image signal; and a calculation part 9 which calculates a third image signal using the luminance information and the color information.
