Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus with a further improved dust removal effect.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: an image pick-up device that picks up an image of a subject; dust removal means that executes dust removal processing of removing dust attached to the image pick-up device; shift means that moves the image pick-up device in a plane orthogonal to an imaging optical axis; a shutter that performs light opening control and light shielding control for the image pick-up device; and control means that moves the image pick-up device with the shift means to a position according to a standby state of the shutter and subsequently performs control of executing the dust removal processing with the dust removal means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
