Abstract:
To make the amount of exposure of an image pick-up device uniform with a simple configuration in an imaging apparatus using an electronic front curtain and a mechanical rear curtain.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 has an image pick-up device 205 that performs an electronic shutter operation as a front curtain, and a mechanical shutter 206 that operates as a rear curtain. The imaging apparatus has vibration detection means 204 that detects the vibration of the imaging apparatus. Control means 201, 601-607 acquire information on the operating characteristics of the mechanical shutter by using information on the detected vibration, and controls the electronic shutter operation by using the information on the operating characteristics of the mechanical shutter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
