To provide an imaging apparatus, reproducing device and reproduction program capable of extracting and displaying a scene in which a significant change occurs in information on the face of a person or the like in a motion picture.
An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging means 201 for producing motion picture data comprised of a plurality of frames; a display means 204 for displaying an image based on the frames; a face detecting means 207 for detecting a point of change about the face of a person included in the motion picture data; a recording means 212 for recording information on a frame corresponding to the point of change; an instruction means 211 for instructing reproduction of the motion picture data; and a control means 202 which causes the display means to display thereon an image based on the frame corresponding to the point of change, among the plurality of frames constituting the motion picture data, based on the information on the frame corresponding to the point of change recorded by the recording means 212 when the reproduction of the motion picture data is instructed by the instruction means 211.
