An imaging apparatus comprises an A/D conversion means which A/D converts a plurality of analog signals including audio signals; a timer which operates at an integer-multiple frequency of a sampling frequency in the case of A/D converting said audio signal through said A/D conversion means; and a selection and supply means for selecting one analog signal out of the plurality of analog signal in accordance with an output of said timer and supplying the selected analog signal to the A/D conversion means.
