Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which reproduces a more natural color of a subject even in a low-illuminance environment.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 11 images a subject to acquire a visible light signal and an invisible light signal. A visible light luminance extracting section 14 extracts a visible light luminance signal Y1, and an invisible light luminance extracting section 15 extracts an invisible light luminance signal Y2. A color signal extracting section 13 extracts a color signal from the visible light signal to correct the color signal. An image synthesis section 16 synthesizes the visible light luminance signal Y1 and the invisible light luminance signal Y2, and generates a color image using a synthesized luminance signal Y3 and the corrected color signal. A control section 17, according to the value of the visible light luminance signal Y1, controls a synthesis ratio of the visible light luminance signal Y1 and the invisible light luminance signal Y2 which are synthesized in the synthesis section 16, color noise removal and the amplification degree of the color signal corrected by the color signal extracting section 13.
