PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A camera system (1), which is an imaging apparatus, is configured by including: an imaging part (9) for photographing using a photographing lens (3); a position detection part (16) for detecting information concerning a position; an event detection part (31) for detecting invent information; and a setting part (27) for setting a photographing setting on the basis of the information concerning the photographing lens when a position detected by the position detection part and a position concerning invent information detected by the event detection part correspond to each other.
