Abstract:
To provide technique allowing for acquisition of a parallax image on an imaging plane without dividing an exit pupil of an image formation optical system.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus is provided that comprises: imaging control means which exposes an imaging device due to a first shutter behavior using a first front curtain and first rear curtain which are away from each other by a first distance in an optical axis direction of an image formation optical system, and thereby acquires a first image, and exposes the imaging device due to a second shutter behavior using a second front curtain and second rear curtain which are away from each other by a second distance smaller than the first distance in the optical axis direction, and thereby acquires a second image; and generation means which generates a third image having parallax in a drive direction of the first shutter behavior with respect to the first image on the basis of the first image and second image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
