Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that can perform a correct focus detection, and can reduce color Moire in imaging devices outputting both of a photographing image signal and a phase difference detection image signal by use of image pickup elements for imaging subjects.SOLUTION: An imaging device has an image pickup element that has a plurality of pixel units for photoelectrically converting a subject image formed by an imaging optical system, in which each of the plurality of pixel units has three or more photoelectric conversion elements arranged in an in-plane where the subject image is formed. Three or more photoelectric conversion elements in each pixel unit include a spectroscopic sensitivity element different in a spectroscopic sensitivity characteristic, and the different spectroscopic sensitivity element in each pixel unit is arrayed so that symmetry is maintained as for the pixel unit adjacent to any of vertical and lateral pixel units.
