Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a balance of resolution feeling of an image generated by a distortion correction process.SOLUTION: An imaging device 100 has: a quadrilateral conversion processor 8b performing a distortion correction process for relatively extending a subject part on a long imaging distance side, to an image obtained by imaging in a state that imaging distances at respective parts of a subject are different; and a focusing controller 7c determining whether or not the distortion correction process is performed to the image obtained by imaging, and performing a predetermined focus adjustment process for focusing on a position with an imaging distance farther than the center part of the subject in the case that it is determined that the distortion correction process is performed, and performing control so as not to perform the predetermined focus adjustment process in the case that it is determined that the distortion correction process is not performed.
