To provide an imaging device which is free from image deterioration even in case the reproduction of an image is repeated so many times; can restore/print image information of a whole manuscript even in case a part of the manuscript is damaged or lost; and can print out a color image even in case an image of the manuscript is monochromatic, and a printing control method and a printing control program.
In this imaging device, a copying machine 100 is equipped with a controller 110, an antenna 170, a reader part 200, a printer part 300 and the like. When an image is printed out based on electronic image information to be sent from a PC, the controller 110 stores the electronic image information in a storage medium of a sheet through the antenna 170 and prints the image on the sheet using the printer part 300 based on the electronic image information. When the manuscript with the storage medium in which the electronic image information is stored, is reproduced, the controller 110 reads the electronic image information from the storage medium of the manuscript through the antenna 170, then stores the electronic image information in a storage medium of the sheet through the antenna 170 and prints the image on the sheet using the printer part 300 based on the electronic image information.
