Abstract:
To provide a printing device which enables a user to cope with an interface error rapidly and unconsciously in a smooth operating manner at the time of turning a power supply on.
In the printing device which has an interface with the outside and prints data received from the outside through the interface, the state of the interface is checked after initializing by turning the power supply on. The power supply is cut upon the detection of the interface error.
