To provide an imaging apparatus in which the number of components of an imaging element unit is reduced and the imaging element unit is efficiently positioned in a camera body part.
The imaging apparatus includes an imaging unit 40 comprising an imaging element 8 and a substrate 44, a mirror box 20 in which the imaging unit 40 is fixed by fixing screws 61, and a shield member 50 that covers at least a part of the substrate 44. An arm part 53 which is extended rom the shield body 51 that covers at least a part of the substrate 44 and is elastically deformable with respect to the shield body 51 is formed in the shield member 50. A rotation stopper 52 is formed at the tip of the arm part 53. The shield member 50 is fixed to the imaging unit 40 by fastening the rotation stopper 52 together with the fixing screws 61 when fixing the imaging unit 40 to the mirror box 20.
