Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which is small-sized and has the most suitable grip performance.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus in which a grip attachment part to and from which a grip member can be attached and detached is formed, includes: a lock member moved between a lock position for locking the grip member attached to the grip attachment part and an unlock position for releasing the lock; and a holding member which is partially disposed within a projection surface of the grip attachment part and is engaged with the lock member to hold the lock member in the unlock position. When the grip member is attached to the grip attachment part, the holding member and the lock member are disengaged from each other, and the lock member is moved to the unlock position to the lock position.
