To solve a task of the difficulty in attaching other information, with respect to e.g., an event or a photographing object in addition to attached information such as time information stored in an imaging and recording apparatus, to a still picture or a moving picture recorded by each event.
In the imaging and recording apparatus for recording an imaged image to a medium, a two-dimensional code decoding circuit 6 decodes the imaged image into a two-dimensional code and a memory 7 stores recorded information. A control circuit 8 applies image processing and attachment of attached data to the imaged image for the purpose of recording the information to the medium 50 and displaying the information onto a monitor and provides an output. Thus, the information with respect to the photographing object can easily be attached to the imaged image.
