To solve the problem that low power consumption of a receiver cannot be realized since the increased order of LPFs 51, 52 is required to suppress disturbance by adjacent signals.
The cut-off frequency for I, Q signal LPFs connected to the output of an IP quadrature detector is changed depending on the position of one or more segments selected from signals comprising a plurality of coupled segments and subjected to OFDM modulation. Since the suppression characteristic against adjacent signals can be obtained without the need for increasing the order of the I, Q signal LPFs in this way, the current by the I, Q signal LPFs is not increased. Thus, low power consumption of the receiver can be realized. Further, since the sufficient adjacent signal excluding capability can be obtained without the need for increasing the order of the I, Q signal LPFs, the area occupied by the I, Q signal LPFs is not increased, and then the downsized receiver can be realized.
