Title:
IMMOBILIZATION OF PROTEIN AND PEPTIDE ON INSOLUBLE SUPPORT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03141300
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To effectively immobilize the subject substance at the low cost, by adsorbing peptide or protein, and a polymer having a crosslinkable functional group, onto a fine porous film surface, and crosslinking the polymer to form a polymer network in which these materials are contained.

CONSTITUTION: Peptide or protein (for example; bovine cardiac myoglobulin or the like), and a polymer having a crosslinkable functional group (for example; polyethyleneimine or the like), are adsorbed onto a surface of a flat microporous membrane (for example; polyvinylidene difluoride film or the like), and then the polymer is treated by a crosslinking agent (for example; 1,4-phenylene diisothiocyanate or the like) to form a crosslinkage, whereby a polymer network including peptide or protein inside, is produced, and peptide or protein can be effectively immobilized on an insoluble base.
