Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that an impact load more than necessary is applied to a body skeleton system even if the impact load is dispersed by the body skeleton system and a side door at a side face collision, and to prevent that a side collision pad rotates with a seat rod as a pivot.SOLUTION: A side collision pad 3 which is arranged in a side door 2 of a vehicle side part is arranged so as to oppose a seat rod 4 in a cabin. A bottomed hole 32a is formed in a region opposing the seat rod of a second side collision pad 32 of the side collision pad, and one or more ribs 33 extending in parallel with one another from a bottom along a vehicle width direction are arranged in the bottomed hole. The region opposing the side collision pad of the seat rod is composed of a tip 41 which is fit into the bottomed hole of the second side collision pad, and a step 42 which abuts on a surrounding wall 32b surrounding the bottomed hole of the second side collision pad when the tip moves up to a prescribed depth of the bottomed hole by an impact load. In a rib 34, a thickness of a region at a tip side is formed thinner than a thickness of the other region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
