Abstract:
To provide an impact absorption structure which can adjust required compression rigidity while suppressing a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A fiber structure 21 of an impact absorption structure is a multilayer fabric, and comprises inter-layer binding yarns 26 for binding a plurality of fiber layers, and the inter-layer binding yarns 26 are twist yarns. In the fiber structure 21, the inter-layer binding yarns 26 are aligned in a load input direction Z, orthogonal to the load input direction Z, and extend in a direction along a face of the fiber structure 21. The fiber structure 21 is set so that twist numbers of the inter-layer binding yarns 26 in first to third regions 23 to 25 differ from one another in order to exhibit the required compression rigidity of the first to third regions 23 to 25 against a load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
