Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method or decoding an uplink status flag(USF) in a radio communication service.
SOLUTION: This method for decoding an uplink status flag having reduced interleaving depth in an RLC/MAC block in a GPRS, supplies all uplink status flags to an RT-EGPRS user in the first burst of four bursts, nine bits of the uplink status flag to the EGPRS user in the first burst of the RLC/MAC block and also the rest bit in the next three bursts. A mobile performs autocorrelation on receiving the first nine bits and confirms whether a USF belongs to a EGPRS group or an RT-EGPRS group.
