PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved process of manufacture of a rotor of a centrifugal compressor enabling optimal accuracy of dimension coinciding with its corresponding anticipated value to be attained.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a process of manufacture of a rotor 10 in which a tool 20 of a numerical control machine having several controlled shafts is used to perform a processing starting from an outer diameter of an integral structure disc till a stage where an outside portion of a radial cavity 12 corresponding to the outer diameter reaches an intermediate location in respect to a radial width of a circular ring of the integral structure disc to form the outside portion of the radial cavity, the tool is used to perform a processing starting from the inner diameter of the disc to reach the intermediate location in respect to the radial width of the circular ring of the integral structure disc to form an inside portion corresponding to the radial cavity, the tool is advanced substantially in a radial direction toward the intermediate location corresponding to the radial width of the circular ring of the integral structure disc from one of the outside portion or inside portion to the other, thereby the radial cavity 12 is completed.
