Title:
IMPROVING METHOD OF LADLE NATURAL OPENING RATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015093293
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the natural hole-opening rate of a ladle 100% when filling the filled sand to a nozzle of the ladle and perform an operation.SOLUTION: In an improving method of a ladle natural opening rate, when filled sand is filled into a nozzle draining molten metal in a ladle and then an operation is performed using the ladle, the filled sand being filled into the ladle is selected satisfying the following conditions: the hot sample shrinkage ratio is 1.2% or more and 2.5% or less at a temperature range of 1,250°C or higher and 1,350°C or less; and the cold sample shrinkage ratio is 3.0% or more and 10% or less at a temperature range of 1,450°C or higher and 1,550°C or lower. The operation is performed satisfying: Y≤-X+1870, where X≤220, Y≤1700, X is the filled ladle time (min), and Y is the maximum molten steel temperature (°C) in the ladle.
