To provide an in-ladle molten steel temperature measuring device capable of continuously/accurately measuring molten steel temperature in a ladle conveying the molten steel to a tundish.
In the in-ladle molten steel temperature measuring device of the present invention, a thermocouple 6 is embedded in a ladle body 1 conveying the molten steel to the tundish 3, a vacuum heat-insulating container 10 in which a radio transmitter 7 for transmitting temperature data detected by the thermocouple 6 is enclosed is installed to the outside of the ladle, and a radio receiver 26 for receiving radio waves from the radio transmitter 7 is arranged in a plant so as to measure the molten steel temperature in the ladle in arbitrary timing. The measuring device is capable of constantly monitoring/controlling the molten steel temperature in the ladle.
