Abstract:
To increase entertainment in a vehicle.
An in-vehicle device equipped to a vehicle stores icons associated with areas as areas-based icon information, and obtains location information of a vehicle and location information of a destination during the process in which the vehicle moves on a route to the destination. In the in-vehicle device, area-based icons are determined based on location information obtained from the area-based icon information, and the determined area-based icons are configured to be included in a display screen associated with routes or a display screen associated with destinations for display.
